How to use a search engine

Read these instructions fully before you carry them out.
There are numerous pages on the internet that give good instruction on using search engines.
Go to http://www.surffast.com/ and look at all the things that are available on this one page.
Cut and paste the following instruction into the Lycos search engines and see what happens

"search engine instructions"
Don't use the quotes unless they themselves are inside quotes. If you don't know how to cut and paste ask the instructor. It is a real time saver!!

Establishing a free email address

Go to http://www.surffast.com/ and type in "free email" in a search engine named "lycos" and choose a free email provider. Follow the instructions to get your free email address from any free provider that you find and agree with their terms and agreement. I would stay away from juno.com as they restrict the size of attachments you can send or receive. You may find these good: yahoo.com, hotmail.com, many others. Be sure and pick a web based or browser based email so that you can use it anywhere you go.
